October 20-23: Boulder Burgundy Wine Festival
Located in Boulder Colorado and passionate about wine? Consider this four-day Burgundy celebration, organized by Boulder Wine Merchant, and made up of seven different events around town.
Starting with the Champagne Kickoff Party at Kitchen Upstairs, an “Old and Rare” Burgundy Seminar the following afternoon, and a Best of Burgundy dinner that evening at Arcana. Other events include the Producer Dinner with Etienne de Montille, the Chablis Brunch at PMG, and the Seminar on vinification with whole clusters, featuring Etienne de Montille and Jancis Robinson. We’re particularly excited about the Paulée-inspired lunch which will feature a 1991 Giroud Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots and a 2005 Lafon Volnay 1er Cru Santenots du Milieu.
The festival finale is the Grand Tasting at the St. Julien Hotel with over 200 different wines. Paul Wasserman will be present and pouring wines from our portfolio including Bize, Bonneau du Martray, Domaine des Croix, Giroud, Lafarge-Vial, Lamy, Moreau, Pataille, Rossignol, and one of our new domaines, Prunier-Bonheur.
Sip away, knowing that proceeds go to benefit: There with Care, The Family Learning Center, Growe Foundation, Davis Phinney Foundation, and the Guild of Sommeliers.
These events are open to anyone interested tasting and learning about Burgundy (non-trade included), but tickets are required, and spots are filling up! Buy tickets online for each specific event on the Boulder Burgundy Wine Festival website.
