    • Variety: Riesling
    • Terroir: From the Rehbach vineyard in Pettenthal VPD Grosse Lage, 100% red slate (Roter Hang), very steep slope, old vines.
    • Viticulture: Certified organic, biodynamic practices, regenerative, pergola trained.
    • Vinification: A blend of multiple vintages. Grapes are foot-crushed and macerated for about 2 days. Pressed for 12 or more hours. Ambient yeast fermentation. Laissez-faire malolactic conversion. Aged for 12-96 months (average of 60 months) in a used 600 L barrel and 1200 L foudre under flor. No fining, no filtration. 30-50 ppm total SO2 at bottling.
