- Variety: Riesling
- Terroir: From a selection of old vines from the Oelberg, Hipping and Pettenthal vineyards on the hill of Roter Hang. Red slate.
- Viticulture: Certified organic, biodynamic practices, regenerative.
- Vinification: From a blend of vintages aged together in a solera system. Grapes are foot-crushed and macerated for about 3 days. Pressed for 12 or more hours. Ambient yeast fermentation. Pre-aged on the lees and under flor until malo is completed and then blended into the 5000 L solera barrels for further aging. No fining, no filtration. Bottled without added SO2.
