• Terroir: Facing east/southeast at 250-300m altitude, shallow brown limestone soil with small limestone rocks (Ladoix, with fossils)

• Vinification: Whole-cluster, 5 to 6 days' cold (10-12°C) maceration in open wooden tanks, 3 to 4 gentle punch-downs per day. 14 months' aging in barrel (10% new oak), a few months' blending in stainless steel tank pre-bottling.
