    Additional Info

This 1er Cru lies at the very north of Nuits-St-Georges, bordering Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts.

Burghound (Issue 53) on the 2012 Vintage: A gorgeously spicy and pungently earthy nose of both red berry fruit and violet scents introduces the supple and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannins on the persistent finish. There is a bit of bitterness but as the tannins appear to be ripe I attribute it to the high level of gas rather than excess extraction of poorly cured wood. (89-92)/2020+
