    • Terroir: From the eastern section of the vineyard, on red sandstone with some limestone. The soils for are not as shallow and stony as those for the Spätburgunder.

    • Vinification: Gently crushed before pressing,ambient yeast fermentation and aging for 12-16 months on the lees in 228 and 500 L barrels (5-10% new), aged for an additional 4 months in stainless steel, no fining, lightly filtered if necessary.
