Decanter Hall of Fame 2019: Becky Wasserman-Hone

On March 4, 2019, Becky won the Decanter Hall of Fame Award. As one of the most prestigious international industry awards in the wine world, the Decanter Hall of Fame aims to recognize and award excellence in the wine world.

Becky could not be more deserving for her contribution in shaping the reputation of Burgundy into what it is today.

In 1979, Becky started Le Serbet, known today as Becky Wasserman & Co. Knowing little about the wine export business, she started from scratch, learning everything along the way. Over the past 40 years, she has formed steadfast relationships with her growers, calling them members of “The Becky Wasserman Family.”
